QFCC YOUTH SUMMIT (10th April 2025)

“The QFCC Youth Summit aims to amplify the lived experiences of young Queenslanders. It’s an opportunity for young people aged 25 years and under to speak directly to government and community decision-makers and leaders about issues that are important to them and the young people around them. Ideas for positive change will be presented with the aim of improving the lives of children, young people, their families and communities.
Speech topic sessions are based on the ARACY Nest Wellbeing Framework:

- Healthy
- Participating
- Learning

How to apply
Applications open on Wednesday 18 December 2024
Applications close on Friday, 24 January
To apply you must:
- be aged 25 years or under
- live in Queensland
- be available to attend the Youth Summit in Brisbane on Thursday 10 April and the pre-event pre-meeting on Wednesday evening 9 April.
You can nominate by submitting a:
- written application (200-500 words)
- 2-3 minute video application.
In your nomination we want to hear about your current situation, where you live, your lived experience, and your ideas for positive change. Don’t worry, you don’t need a fully written speech just yet, a short outline is suitable to put forward your nomination.
You will receive an email confirmation once your nomination has been received.
