The Hazara Association of Queensland (HAQ) held its Annual General Meeting on Sunday, 23 November 2025, at Marsden State High School, with strong attendance from members.
The meeting opened with a recitation of the Holy Quran by Mr. Zaki Hassani. The President, Mr. Elias Karimi, along with the management team, presented a concise overview of the Association’s activities over the past two years, including administrative progress, cultural programs, financial updates, grants, digital work, and the ongoing development of the HAQ Community Centre.
Members participated in an open Q&A session, where key questions were addressed by the leadership team. Proposed amendments to the constitution were presented and approved by majority vote.
Elections were conducted under the supervision of a volunteer election committee.

The meeting concluded in a constructive and collaborative atmosphere. The Association extends its appreciation to all members for their participation and ongoing support.
